CRAIGSLIST

Wow, I posted my ad to sell some of my furniture on craigslist and so far have gotten quite a few bites. What I also find unbelievable is that there's a section for free stuff - some folks actually give away their stuff, you just have to come by to pick them up. Cases in point: a very nice dresser, a microwave, bookcases, mattresses, a computer desk and chair, washing machine, water heater, couch, armchair, dishwasher, crutches, wheelchairs, office furniture, even cats and an iguana. All seemed to be in good condition, either the owners were moving out and didn't want the hassle of taking the stuff with them, or they got left behind in apartments or they just wanted to make room for new stuff. Amazing. I think, when Hubby and I have bought our own place, I'll just do my shopping on craigslist. The free bin, specifically. ^_^
